Tsunami writing

In class we've been writing to the teachers, trying to persuade them to give us one of there seats inside there car when a deadly tsunami comes rolling through, please comment your thoughts and opinions.

Ok, worst case scenario,a tsunami comes and wipes out the entire existence of Gisborne, and your looking for students to rescue, well, if your thinking about not taking me, here's what your missing out on. To me, being fast is the ultimate skill in life,and I am just that, fast, long or short distance,I can cover ground faster than most people. Running is very useful in tsunamis. I can run to navigate where the best place is to go. also, I can run up hills to locate where the tsunami is. “ but that doesn't mean anything,'' well jokes on you, i can just run to the car before anyone else can. As well as being fast , I've got many more sporting abilettes. I do surf life saving and or swimming, so if the tsunami reaches us or someone's starts drowning in a natural lake, I can (possibly) save them,(depends on who it is). Rugby, rugby can be used in many ways. Such as; If something starts charging at us or our possessions,could be animals or maybe other survivors like church, I can just tackle them and stop them in their tracks.”but that's only three sports” you say, just wait, I’ve got more tricks up my sleeve. So, I was digging up my sleeve and I found one more reason why you should take me.I got hops./hop/(a single person with mad jumping height and explosiveness). When Matua Wayne can't reach, I got the hops to grab the said item. And when the monthly survival crates with all the survival gear you could need gets dropped out if air force WW2 cargo carriers, I got the hops to grab them before anyone else. I'm basically the new zealand equivalent of Michael Jordan. Changed your mind yet?, so if your willing to bring a 12 year old kid that you see from 9 till 3 almost everyday with mad hops and incredible speed, im your guy. maxwell

Rugby world cup cybersmart

Today in our cybersmart work, we had to create a pair of rugby boots for our country's for the world cup 2019. but after the  boots we took a photo and copy and pasted our boots onto our character. Next we used curve and polyline to outline our clothes and design a uniform to go with our boots. Here is my finished result

Report writing

In class we were asked to do report writing, I chose to do mine on the 1987 rugby world cup final.1987, the year of the world cup, a fresh prize was up for grabs, the webb ellis cup. A strong new zealand side toured home searching for success.The world cup was under way. Sir John Kirwan opens the tournament with an 85 meter sprint againsts italy to make it to the line. The All blacks continued their winning streak by defeating Fiji and Argentina comfortably moving into the knockout stages. Scotland was taken down 30-3 and Wales were sent home, 49-6, missing out on the final.On the 20th of june 1987, eden park was filled to the brim with 48,035 spectators on the edge of their seats.overcast and still winds, France run out closely followed by New zealand. A staunch haka led by Wayne Shelford opened the match. The final is underway,David Kirk makes a break but can't execute the try but a penalty opens up , Kirk taps and Grant Fox executes the drop goal,3:0, all of a sudden Michael jones gets under the bar from broken play. Fox converts,9:0. France charge kirks kick but knock the ball during the phase.Penalty shot opens for france, 4o meters out from the touchline, Camberabero slots and brings the score to 9:3. Several minutes later another penalty shot opens up for Fox, easy kick and Fox nailed it.12:3.A cheeky nudge by Degrocer sends the Frenchmen to the sin bin, Penalty kick from Fox was successful and the score is,15:3. Play carries on and on when all of a sudden a french rooster scuttles on to the fieldBut is immediately taken off. An all black scrum is placed on the french 22. Kirk takes the ball off the back of the scrum, steps, fends, and breaks the tackle and scores in the corner. 19:3, to the All Blacks at half time. Grant fox starts the second half off. Goes long to Camberabero but then he sends it straight back to the All blacks. Play rolls on and on.A rolling maul from France bringing the inches  away from the line, but kirk snatche it from the back he takes the ball to half way support by kirwan puts them in the corner. Conversion by fox.26:3 in the all blacks favor.late penalty for fox, which is successful, takes it to 29:3.2 minutes togo, the all blacks are clinching onto the cup already. Broken play leads to frances final points for the match. Try by berbizier and conversion by camberabero ends the final. Kerry fitzgerald blows the final whistle, THE ALL BLACKS HAVE WON THE FIRST EVER WORLD CUP!!.Celebrations on the field shortly turn into the winning side walking up the stands to receive their reward. David Kirk grabs the Webb ellis cup and holds it high above his head. The world cup 1987 was New Zealands.

RWC country mascot

 Today in cybersmart we were told to create a mascot for our chosen country( Ireland) we worked in pairs and had to incorporate some of the country's national features. My partner was  Josef and things weren't properly communicated between each other but that's something we can work on next time. please leave a comment.

this is my science fair project,
its about which ball pressure is the best to kick a rugby ball
surprisingly it made it through to regionals which i am stoked about.
i'll let know how i went at regionals.

My rugby performance,7.6.19

I start the game off. My kick is high and we regain possession.Tackle after tackle after tackle as our defence is pressured.came off before half time for the blood bench but was back on pretty quick. Although i start at fullback, my first five eight roots come into play.Run, step chip, and run as i burst towards the line, their fullback awaits me. I hear calling to my right. I fire the ball to the wing and we score in the corner. I line the conversion up,i'm going through my routine when... the ball falls off the tee, i have to think fast. the chargers are in front  of me, not thinking i take the drop goal. straight down the middle i'm told,several minutes past and were under the sticks again,my kick down the middle again,time up its done, final score 14-15,lost by 1 point.
